Level 2 — natural speed, explained
Two people, six minutes
Two hosts in natural conversation, with the difficult vocabulary explained as they go.
Two presenters talking to each other at natural speed — the Week 2 skill, with a safety net. They stop and explain the hard words, so you get real conversational rhythm without being left behind.
These are British voices. The rest of this course is American. That is deliberate — the rhythm, linking and reduction work identically, and hearing a second accent makes your ear more flexible, not more confused. But if you are preparing specifically for the US, treat this shelf as variety rather than as your main diet.
Pick one episode and stay with it. Skipping between episodes looking for an easy one is the fastest way to learn nothing.
Your job on this shelf
Caption pass, collect five. Watch once without captions. Watch again with captions and write down five phrases you missed the first time. Five is the target — not twenty.
Any of the four modes works here. This is just the one that suits this shelf best.
