How this course works
Five minutes now will save you a lot of confusion later.
5 minutesEverything stays on this page
The videos play here, inside the course. Nothing opens a new tab. You will never end up on YouTube with ten videos open.
Four sessions a week
Each week has four sessions. Do them in order, one at a time, on four different days. Do not do two in one sitting — your ear needs the sleep between them more than it needs the extra hour.
Session 2 of every week is the Pronunciation Workshop. Those pages are gold instead of purple so you can see them coming.
Tap “Mark this step finished”
Every step has a button at the bottom. Tap it when you finish that step. The circle turns gold and the page scrolls you to the next one.
Keep two things all the way through
- Your voice notes — short recordings on your own phone. You will record the same task again in Week 6 and hear how far you moved.
- Your Couldn't-Catch List — every time you fail to understand something in English, write down what you did hear.
Set your language once
The Pronunciation Workshop gives different advice to Nepali speakers and Chinese speakers, because the two languages make different parts of English hard. Choose yours once and it stays chosen.
